  • 8 Thing Christmas Edition

Gabrielle tagged me to do this ages ago (two months to be precise), and since I hadn't gotten around to doing it, and I should probably make a Christmas post, I thought I would combine them.

    8 things The rules:

    1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves their Christmas.
    2. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
    3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
    4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they are tagged, and to read your blog.

    1. I got to see all my darling little girl cousins. I don't have pictures of Kalyn or Faith, but here is a picture of Greta and a picture of me with Gen.

    2. I received a knitting book and a crochet book for Christmas. After trying both, I've put up the knitting for awhile, but I love the crochet.

    3. My favorite Christmas present:

    4. I ate a total of 3 holiday dinners (5 if you count New Year's Eve and New Years)

    5. I got to see lots of my friends that were home from college.

    6. I missed my darling sister and adorable nephew and brother-in-law.

    7. But I got to spend lots of time with my great big brother and the rest of my wonderful family.

    8. Merry Christmas, Ya'll!!! (a little late)

No, I am not tagging anybody because I don't think I have eight friends left on xanga that actually ever post. Yes, I know I would go under the category of those whose never post.

    Good night~

  • La la la...

We spent this past weekend with my grandmother in Tyler. During the 60 some odd hours we were there, I visited the grocery store five times. That was my excitement for the weekend--that and the four card games. We also ate and slept and watched TV. And I read The Scarlet Pimpernel, yet again. It's a very good book. If you haven't read it, you should. And if you don't like it, I don't want to hear about it. I think it's a swell book, as I have already mentioned.

In other news, Nate is doing very well and getting cuter every day.  I was going to post pictures, but Melissa beat me to it. Go see them at her xanga now, and then comment and tell her she has the most adorable baby in the world.

  • My poor dear neglected xanga,

Please forgive my insensible neglect and lack of care for you. I can offer no explanation. I can make no excuse. I only offer my deepest and most humble apologies. Please do not hold this against me.

As a token of my regard and of my purpose to neglect you no longer, I offer you this picture of my most adorable nephew.

    Yours sincerely,

    Deborah
